Keur Momar Sarr 3

The Head of State launched work on the third water plant, built on the Lake Guiers unit, Keur Momar Sarr 3 (KMS 3) in the Thiès region. It is the largest hydraulic structure in Senegal's history. With a capacity of 200,000 m3 per day, KMS3 required funding of 274 billion CFA francs and will increase water production in the Dakar region by 501,000 tonnes.
